Assistant Manager, Inventory

Responsibilities

• Oversee the outcomes of the Inventory team, including Shrink KPIs, inventory unit accuracy, process accuracy, and loss prevention
• Manage and develop the Inventory team through coaching, performance management, training, and personnel escalations
• Take full ownership of on-hand products in both physical and systematic locations
• Utilize data to analyze business trends and collaborate with the Engineering team to create impactful new processes
• Support the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Quality Control expectations
• Proactively identify operational risks and manage headcount/succession planning for the team
• Work within a dynamic warehouse environment, maintaining flexibility for evolving processes and additional projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience, including training and developing teams of 10+ staff members
• 2-5 years of experience in high-volume inventory control (experience in the sneaker industry is a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of order fulfillment, including picking and inbound/outbound mechanisms
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Excel, and SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while standing or walking
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak business periods
