About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization's General Insurance and Liability Insurance portfolio
  • Review and process insurance proposals including Marine, Fire, Property All Risk, and Public Liability
  • Coordinate with brokers and insurance companies to obtain competitive quotations
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to optimize coverage and cost
  • Process insurance premium payments and maintain financial records
  • Handle end-to-end insurance claims administration and coordinate with surveyors
  • Maintain Insurance MIS covering policies, claims, renewals, and endorsements
  • Collaborate with Plant, Supply Chain, Legal, HR, and Finance teams

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Insurance Management
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or FMCG industries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of General Insurance, Liability Insurance, and Corporate Risk Management
  • Proficiency in SAP (AP Module) and Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in policy administration and broker management
  • Deep understanding of insurance regulations and policy wording
