Assistant Manager - Incoming Quality

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and analyze quality assurance plans, processes and procedures
• Coordinate and lead quality improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
• Ensure all quality control measures adhere to industry and company standards and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain standardized documentation related to quality control and testing
• Analyze failures and discrepancies to correct deficiencies by identifying trends and applying statistical methods
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and initiate corrective actions
• Facilitate training for employees to communicate quality requirements and standards
• Ensure customer-driven quality control processes effectively utilize team resources, systems, and tools
• Maintain regular interaction with management and other departments to coordinate quality standards
• Participate in internal and external audits, performing product and process audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field
• 7-8 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in manufacturing
• Proven knowledge of quality management systems and quality system audits
• Strong understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Experience with statistical data analysis and root-cause analysis tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and charts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification
• Understanding of regulatory standards within the lighting and automotive industry
