Assistant Manager in Financial Crime Solutions Team

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and validate analytical tools and models to manage financial risk and regulatory reporting.
• Apply statistical, economic, and mathematical techniques to solve business and risk management problems.
• Assist banks and financial institutions in analyzing and managing financial risks, including credit, interest rate, and capital risks.
• Support the assessment and transformation of risk operations, processes, and frameworks.
• Interpret internal and external issues to recommend high-quality, data-driven solutions.
• Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring high quality and efficient time management.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in the banking sector within Financial Risk Management or Finance.
• Hands-on experience with Credit Risk, RWA, Stress Testing, or Quantitative Financial Modelling.
• Educational background in Finance, Business, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, with excellent Excel skills.
• Fluency in both Latvian and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of AML, Sanctions, or Fraud within the banking sector.
• Previous experience working in a Big4 environment.
