Assistant Manager, Guinness Open Gate Brewery, London

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of a large, multi-experience hospitality venue across bars, restaurants, and events
• Maintain legal and community commitments, including licensing and OMP compliance
• Act as the manager on duty responsible for crisis management, incident response, and emergency evacuations
• Manage and liaise with on-site security teams and external stakeholders such as local authorities
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, and site-wide health and safety standards
• Support financial performance targets and P&L accountability
• Assist in staff recruitment, training, and the delivery of high service standards to meet NPS targets
• Manage physical site logistics, including deliveries, stock replenishment, and event set-up

Requirements

• Prior experience running large, high-turnover hospitality premises
• Extensive licensing experience, preferably with prior DPS experience
• Proven experience in crisis management and handling emergency situations
• Experience managing and liaising with security teams
• Demonstrated experience in facilities, maintenance, and health and safety compliance
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, and navigating multi-floor sites
• Physical capability to assist with stock handling, moving equipment, and event set-up
