Assistant Manager, Guest Experience

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment
• Implement the Store Manager’s People vision and cascade to team members
• Support hiring, coaching, mentoring, and continuous development of team members
• Lead exceptional guest experiences on the retail floor through coaching and feedback
• Resolve guest feedback and address escalations to "make it right"
• Partner with managers to review business data and P&L statements
• Maintain strategic product presentation and visual merchandising
• Manage delegated aspects of controllable budget and labor hours

Requirements

• 1 year of people management experience
• 1 year of leadership experience including business operations or project management
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation
• Availability to work a variable schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1 year of retail or sales specific management experience
• 1 year of experience in recruiting, hiring, or training employees
