About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead from the floor to build, manage, and develop team members while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by celebrating differences and supporting a diverse workforce.
- Support the Store Manager in hiring, coaching, mentoring, and managing performance through continuous feedback.
- Drive guest connection and technical product education by providing real-time floor leadership and coaching.
- Resolve guest feedback and address escalations to ensure a high-caliber retail experience.
- Manage store operations including opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising, and maintaining safety standards.
- Partner with management to review business metrics and P&L data to inform sales and hiring strategies.
Requirements
- 1 year of people management experience.
- 1 year of leadership experience, including managing business operations or projects.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to travel to the assigned store location.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1 year of retail or sales-specific management experience.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, or training employees.
