About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead from the floor to build, manage, and develop team members while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by celebrating differences and supporting a sense of belonging.
- Support the Store Manager in hiring, training, and providing continuous coaching and feedback to the team.
- Drive retail floor excellence by making real-time decisions regarding coverage, operations, and guest connection.
- Resolve guest feedback and escalations to ensure every customer feels heard and valued.
- Manage operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising, and product recovery.
- Partner with management to review business metrics and P&L data to inform store strategy and labor planning.
Requirements
- 1 year of people management experience.
- 1 year of leadership experience, including managing business operations or processes.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to the assigned store location.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1 year of retail or sales-specific management experience.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, or training employees.
