About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the General Ledger function, including accruals, prepayments, lease accounting, and vendor expenses
- Own and maintain the month-end close calendar and checklists to ensure timely reporting
- Drive balance sheet reconciliations using SOX-compliant documentation
- Review accounting transactions posted within NetSuite
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and prevent escalations
- Perform balance sheet and income statement flux analysis to provide actionable financial insights
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and compliance across all accounting activities
Requirements
- CA, CPA, or MBA qualification
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting
- Proven experience working with US-based technology companies
- Strong expertise in GL Accounting and the financial close process
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or an equivalent ERP system
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage complex timelines
