Assistant Manager (GCH)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cost accrual, analysis, and flash reporting
• Execute accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for month-end reporting
• Create engaging monthly and ad-hoc analysis to identify movements from both Controlling and Business Finance perspectives
• Support the month-end process by investigating budget/forecast variances and providing actionable insights based on vendor analysis
• Undertake monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and lead the overall month-end close process
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including LEC, Group Control, and Business Finance teams, acting as a subject matter expert
• Maintain a high level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to mitigate risk
• Participate in FIL-wide projects related to your specific cost area

Requirements

• Solid background in Finance with direct exposure to accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting
• Proven experience in reporting and reconciliations
• Advanced data analytics and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality solutions at speed
• Strong attention to detail and a curious mindset for deep-dive issue resolution
