About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage ARC projects for Financial Services clients, including IFRS 9, 15, 16, and 17 implementations.
  • Manage financial instruments accounting, including valuation, classification, and impairment.
  • Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS standards.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and prepare deliverables such as technical memos and position papers.
  • Assess client accounting and financial reporting processes to provide tailored solutions.
  • Supervise and coach junior team members to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification is required (CA, ACCA, or CPA).
  • 4–7 years of experience in accounting advisory.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working specifically with Financial Services clients (banks, insurers, or investment firms).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, particularly standards relevant to financial instruments and insurance contracts.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the wider GCC financial services market.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools.
