Assistant Manager Food

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of quick service branded restaurants to ensure high standards of quality and cleanliness
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of hourly and seasonal staff, including providing work direction and performance reviews
• Execute strategic plans to optimize operational profits, managing costs of goods and variable labor
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding food safety, labor, and employment
• Maintain compliance with Union contracts regarding employee work conditions and departmental standards
• Oversee employee workflow and training to ensure the workforce is proficient in operating venues
• Monitor and adjust daily functions to provide exceptional guest service and resolve concerns effectively

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of quick service food management experience in high-volume operations
• Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including holidays, weekends, and nights
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk/travel to multiple venues

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration
• Previous experience working in a theme park environment
• Experience managing within a union environment
• Proficiency with food-related Point of Service systems (e.g., EATEC & Clarity)
• Strong background in budget creation and management
