About the role

Responsibilities

  • Communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members and lead by example
  • Monitor and achieve technical service and detail standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and senior management
  • Foster and maintain a high-quality bar program
  • Conduct recruitment, selection, training, and development initiatives
  • Manage performance and provide employee coaching
  • Assist with tracking sales, invoicing, and inventory management
  • Coach the management team on conducting service briefings
  • Manage staff scheduling based on service needs

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of direct restaurant management experience in high-volume fine dining
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification
  • WSET Level 2 (Intermediate) Certification or equivalent wine/beverage knowledge
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
