Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting & Control

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and Financial Controller in transitional activities for the US market
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and control activities
• Deliver Month End closure (MEC) activities, including P&L and Balance Sheet finalization
• Manage timely closing of local accounting books and BPC group submissions
• Lead budget and reforecast preparation and manage BPC submissions
• Drive reconciliations, prepare Balance Sheet presentations, and perform risk analysis
• Support specialist finance activities including taxation, VAT, treasury, and risk management
• Collaborate with Operational and Commercial Finance teams to improve processes and controls
• Manage and develop a team of up to 3 members
• Support external audit processes and assess the internal control environment
• Perform testing to support annual J-SOX controls effectiveness attestation

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Consolidation, or Financial reporting
• Proficiency in technical accounting and IFRS
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation)
• Proficiency with the Blackline tool
