About the Company
Glomo is a regulated cross-border payments company based in GIFT City IFSC, India’s premier international financial hub.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FEMA and IFSCA regulations
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS/TCS, and advance tax payments
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance for customers and vendors
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and escrow accounting
- Administer multi-currency bank accounts and monitor foreign currency exposure
- Prepare monthly cash-burn reports and short-term forecasts
- Reconcile monthly escrow for all company products
- Maintain and update SOPs for all finance processes
- Operate and maintain ERP/accounting software
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (ICAI) certification
- 3–4 years of post-qualification experience
- Practical knowledge of FEMA guidelines
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or Zoho Books
- In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and corporate law
- Experience managing statutory audits
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the fintech industry
- Familiarity with GIFT City IFSC regulatory framework
- Understanding of SWIFT, NOSTRO/VOSTRO, and cross-border settlements
- Comfort with AI-powered finance workflow tools
