Assistant Manager – Finance

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting activities, and the generation of MIS reports
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and MCA filings
• Manage intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) sheets and perform necessary reconciliations
• Maintain and update financial databases and Excel trackers
• Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong hands-on experience with MS Excel
• Proficiency in financial analysis and ratio analysis
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Basic understanding of US accounting and taxation principles
