About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the store manager in daily operations and sales team management
  • Assume direct responsibility in the manager's absence
  • Collaborate on budgeting plans and action items
  • Coach the sales team on promotions, initiatives, and products
  • Interact with customers to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing store window displays
  • Manage customer databases, bank deposits, daily balance reconciliations, and payroll assistance

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience preferred
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a relevant field
  • Proficiency in retail systems (POS, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and STORIS)
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of furniture industry trends and market competitors
