Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to monitor and control labor costs through effective scheduling and team retention.
• Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures, including security protocols and crew task coordination.
• Conduct inventory checks, update systems, and manage food deliveries to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and QSC standards.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and adherence to all health and food safety regulations.
• Direct and prioritize team member tasks during shifts and provide coverage for workstations as needed.
• Address customer feedback promptly using the company's "Just Say Yes" policy.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-4 years of restaurant supervisory experience or EPL SPECS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for company business.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit class upon hire.
