Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor and control labor costs through effective scheduling and retention initiatives
• Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures, including security protocols and crew task coordination
• Conduct inventory checks, update systems, and handle food deliveries to ensure accuracy
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and standards
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and adherence to health, food safety, and QSC standards
• Direct and prioritize team member tasks during shifts and provide coverage for workstations as needed
• Address customer feedback promptly using the "Just Say Yes" policy to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• 2-4 years of restaurant supervisory experience or EPL SPECS certification
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire
• High school diploma or GED preferred
