Assistant Manager - Eight Roads Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and fund administration for Eight Roads venture capital funds and third-party fund investments
• Manage month-end accounting and reporting processes, including reconciliation of investment and cash transactions
• Produce quarterly investor reports, General Partner board reporting, and annual fund financial statements
• Prepare carried interest calculations, distribution notices, and call notices
• Manage the capital call process, including investment authorization forms and transaction recording
• Assist with annual tax returns across different jurisdictions and liaise with tax advisors
• Collaborate with venture capital, treasury, legal, and tax departments to support investment processing and cash management
• Support group and local fund audits by liaising with external auditors

Requirements

• ACA, CA, or equivalent accounting designation
• Practical experience with investment companies and complex partnership structures
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and fund structures
• Experience preparing financial statements, preferably under US GAAP
• Experience working in an international multi-currency environment
• Experience with investment performance calculation and attribution analysis is desirable
