Assistant Manager Distribution Planning

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient product distribution from factories, hubs, and DCs to receiving nodes to enable high customer service levels.
• Manage system planning activities and analyze distribution data to optimize delivery times and minimize costs.
• Design the sourcing matrix in collaboration with Supply Planning and SUIT teams.
• Monitor and report on distribution KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce holding costs.
• Work closely with logistics and transportation providers to ensure on-time product delivery.
• Support the development of new distribution processes and systems to align with business priorities.
• Ensure full compliance with company distribution policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of experience in planning, distribution planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to travel as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with distribution software systems.
• Experience in designing physical, dynamic, and fixed norms for business requirements.
