About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure compliance regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and economic sanctions screening requirements.
- Monitor the Company’s business operations to ensure adherence to BNM regulations, industry codes of conduct, and internal policies.
- Manage regulatory queries and requests from BNM and PIAM, including compilation and coordination of necessary documentation.
- Implement and test controls for the Anti-bribery and Corruption Framework.
- Review product transparency and disclosure materials, including PDS, marketing materials, and call scripts.
- Maintain an effective compliance communication and training program to promote awareness of the Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports to management regarding compliance issues, progress, and potential violations.
- Assist in the development and revision of policies regarding illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Requirements
- Proven experience in compliance or regulatory functions within a financial services environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across different departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with BNM Policy Documents on AMLCFT & TFS.
