Assistant Manager - Catering Sales

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted catering sales strategies to increase revenue and market penetration in the Mumbai region
• Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and MICE companies to generate new business
• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure consistent communication and repeat business
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and revenue management departments to ensure seamless service execution
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and customized catering proposals
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, revenue targets, and market share
• Negotiate contracts and pricing while maintaining profitability and brand standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in hotel or catering sales
• Proven expertise in B2B sales techniques and client relationship management
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior operational experience in a hotel or catering environment
• Familiarity with MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry dynamics
• Experience with revenue management principles and CRM platforms
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
