Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, including sales generation and profit growth.
• Recruit, interview, and train store personnel to ensure high performance and brand alignment.
• Manage staff scheduling, including meal periods, overtime, and on-call needs.
• Motivate sales staff to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals and company contests.
• Resolve customer service concerns and maintain high visual presentation standards.
• Supervise cash handling, banking procedures, and timely accounting of cash flow.
• Manage incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintain physical inventory accuracy, and uphold loss prevention standards.
• Assist with selling, cashiering, and stocking as necessary to support the team.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred).
• Minimum of one year of retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications.
