Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in exceeding sales plans and metric objectives
• Ensure consistent execution of visual presentation standards and merchandise arrangement
• Train staff on product knowledge, systems, and customer service standards
• Maintain proper inventory controls and facilitate inventory counts
• Supervise employees according to the Employee Handbook and standard operating procedures
• Provide constructive feedback to employees and communicate performance recommendations
• Assist with omni-channel sales, fulfillment, and store events
• Act as a backup to the Store Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in a similar role
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
• Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Analytical and math skills for report and sales data analysis
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long durations
