About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the management, leadership, and development of the Audit team to ensure successful engagement execution
  • Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the development of appropriate audit approaches
  • Review working papers, audit queries, correspondence, and reports to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Lead and participate in technical audit and accounting matters, escalating issues where appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients through effective communication
  • Contribute to service line initiatives and support broader team strategy and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 4+ years of external audit experience within a professional services firm
  • CA/CPA qualification or currently working towards completion
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Solid understanding of financial statement areas and key audit concepts
  • Strong ability to identify risks and apply appropriate audit procedures
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
