Assistant Manager - Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AV technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring timely execution of setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Act as the primary technical liaison between departments for event execution and show support
• Oversee daily operations of AV systems including sound, lighting, projection, and control networks (DMX, DALI, Art-Net/sACN)
• Ensure optimal performance of AV control systems such as QLab, Crestron, and Navigator CSC
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of AV equipment including LED walls, projectors, and speakers
• Assist in technical design reviews and installations for new entertainment projects
• Enforce safety protocols for rigging, flying systems, and aerial show equipment

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AV technical services
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of AV networking and control systems including QLab, Crestron, and GRMS
• Proficiency in lighting, laser, holography, and control programming tools (ETC, C++, PLC)
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in luxury resorts or high-end entertainment venues
