Assistant Manager, Air Operations

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end air shipments, including receiving bookings and coordinating with shippers, consignees, and agents.
• Manage documentation such as Mawb and Hawbs, and ensure timely filing of AMS or EDI (FHL/FWB).
• Handle timely invoicing for clients and agents, and verify incoming subcontractor invoices.
• Provide high-quality customer service by responding to requests, claims, and feedback.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with international shipping regulations, company policies, and customer SOPs.
• Maintain data accuracy within Flexport systems to meet KPIs and support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with account managers and customs teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
• Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive operational efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in air operations or related roles within freight forwarding or logistics.
• IATA Certification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented and structured approach to managing complex global operations.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle queries professionally and promptly.
