About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end shipment lifecycle for complex air export accounts, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality service.
- Execute and coordinate shipments, including booking approvals, prealerts, governmental filings, and delivery execution.
- Maintain accurate shipment data and documentation within Navisphere, ensuring high levels of data integrity regarding INCOterms, routing, and dates.
- Provide complex quotes based on network needs and coach team members on pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and vendors through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for customer requirements and process initiatives.
- Monitor shipment trends and recommend technology or process improvements to increase efficiency and revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Air Export within the Global Forwarding industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business.
- Basic understanding of Quality Management (ISO 9001).
- Extensive industry knowledge regarding regulations, international shipping, and customs procedures.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven track record of client-focused service and high attention to detail.
