About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Front Office team and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments
  • Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high service standards
  • Ensure smooth hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager or Front Office Manager
  • Actively resolve guest complaints and challenges to ensure positive outcomes
  • Maintain a visible management presence in the lobby and at the Front Desk during key times
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes as required
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency situations
  • Support the restaurant and cafe by assisting with dining orders when needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience within the hotel industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • First Aid training (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership qualities and a guest-obsessed mindset
