About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own key parts of the month-end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews
  • Ensure accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and support robust financial reporting
  • Support Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks, and payment runs
  • Prepare VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
  • Play a key role in audit cycles by preparing schedules and supporting audit requests
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills; working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) is preferred
  • Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial reporting, audits, and statutory accounts
  • Additional European languages are a plus
