Assistant Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Provide finance and administrative support to the De Beers UK Finance Department
• Manage month-end processes, including intercompany reconciliations and service order management
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting, including travel submission uploads to Onestream
• Oversee accounts payable tasks, including purchase order coordination and SAP period management
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits
• Prepare consolidation VAT returns and statutory submissions such as PSA and SAO
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and enhance financial processes

Requirements

• Part qualification in accounting
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Experience working within a finance-based environment
• Ability to produce accurate schedules for internal and external reporting
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP
• Experience supporting non-finance managers in a corporate setting
