Assistant Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Producing weekly costings and financial reports for multiple customer contracts and sites
• Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Supporting customer invoicing, credit control, supplier payments, and cash flow forecasting
• Assisting with monthly review packs, budgets, and quarterly forecasts
• Producing internal reports and providing finance support on ad hoc projects
• Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and process improvement activities

Requirements

• Part qualified Accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Proven attention to detail and analytical approach
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerBI
• Previous experience in a Finance role (journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, income matching)
• Experience in a similar industry is an advantage
