Assistant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and conducting regular audits
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Supervise and support maintenance technicians through regular coaching, 1:1 meetings, and team huddles
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including PM/PdM completion rates and equipment effectiveness
• Maintain accurate data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Act as the on-site point of contact for maintenance-related issues to ensure alignment between teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a management role overseeing maintenance teams
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends, based on operational needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, and climbing ladders
• Ability to walk significant distances daily and work in varying warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant management experience
• Certification in maintenance management or reliability (e.g., CMRP, PMP)
• Expertise with conveyor systems and robotics used in logistics and fulfillment centers
