Assistant Learning Experience Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online courses using contemporary development tools and established course templates
• Partner closely with faculty to build engaging, objective-aligned credit and non-credit learning experiences
• Adhere to style guides, quality standards, and instructional design documentation to ensure consistency
• Serve as a secondary lead for assigned colleges
• Create training materials and co-facilitate professional development offerings for faculty
• Complete course revisions and maintain high standards of quality and best practices in learning experience design

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field
• 2 years of experience working as an instructional designer or in a similar role within a higher education setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Familiarity with various instructional technology tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Functional experience with multimedia production
• Knowledge of Accessibility standards and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
