About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency
- Manage weekly inventory, food costs, and ordering
- Maintain XtraCHEF invoices and reporting
- Monitor labor costs and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Manage BOH opening and closing procedures
Requirements
- Previous kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Experience managing food quality, inventory, labor, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency with Toast, XtraCHEF, or Microsoft Office
- Arizona Food Protection Manager Certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check
