Assistant Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping and warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations
• Manage customer shipping requirements using AES, Carrier Networks, and TMS
• Process SAP requirements for specific customers
• Coordinate daily shipping activities with work cells and carriers
• Maintain customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce material handling costs
• Provide daily feedback to management regarding inventory issues
• Coach, counsel, and develop team members
• Ensure accurate reporting for direct reports using Kronos
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Three years of shipping related experience
• Proficient SAP skills including web shipping tools
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (percentages, area, volume)
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
