Assistant Instructor, CPAT

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and instruction for CPAT orientations, practice sessions, and final exams
• Maintain responsibility for the overall conduct and safety of skill evaluation areas
• Ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of all examination-related items
• Maintain equipment used for the exam in operable condition
• Use IAFF-developed CPAT skill sheets to evaluate students
• Assist the exam coordinator with the setup and teardown of skill testing stations
• Adhere to all college and IAFF policies and licensing requirements

Requirements

• One (1) year of firefighting experience OR Peer Fitness Trainer certification
