Assistant Information Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Information Manager in delivering exceptional information management services to the project.
• Prepare and communicate project Information Standards, Methods, and Procedures.
• Manage the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Information Management System (IMS) to ensure data accuracy and security.
• Deliver training on information management systems and document control processes to project staff.
• Coordinate project reporting, including client reports, performance summaries, and system analytics.
• Oversee the quality and compliance of document control and administrative procedures.
• Facilitate project collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and mobile applications for field-based processes.
• Manage the production of the Digital Health & Safety File.
• Support the digitisation of workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Information Management within major infrastructure or complex construction projects.
• Strong working knowledge of PAS 1192 and ISO 19650 standards.
• In-depth understanding of construction project lifecycles and digital handover processes.
• Proficiency in using EDMS systems (preferably Asite) and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and digital field tools such as Field View.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience in managing small teams and supporting staff development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing or supporting large data-driven project environments.
