About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping operations and departmental budgets
  • Monitor appearance, standards, and performance of the housekeeping team
  • Ensure staffing levels cover business demands and manage duty rosters
  • Support training, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
  • Maintain communication with all hotel areas and external suppliers
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and departmental policies
  • Report necessary maintenance items and manage inventory

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role
  • Experience in large-scale hotels with 500+ rooms
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards, hygiene, and safety procedures
  • Proficiency in hotel systems such as Opera or similar PMS
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Good command of spoken and written English
