About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including staff management, cleanliness standards, and inventory control
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and operational standards
- Assist in training and developing housekeeping staff, including performance evaluations and ongoing training initiatives
- Manage scheduling, assignments, and ensure efficient workflow among the housekeeping team
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist with budgeting and inventory management for housekeeping supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles in a hotel environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and standard operating procedures in housekeeping
- A proactive attitude and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction
