Assistant Hotel Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining profitability
• Supervise, coach, and train team members across front desk, deli, and housekeeping departments
• Manage staff scheduling based on business demands
• Resolve guest concerns promptly using sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Oversee front desk functions including check-in/out, reservations, and payment processing
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, safety protocols, and regulatory policies
• Coordinate room readiness and cleanliness with the Housekeeping department
• Manage inventory and departmental supply orders

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in hospitality management (or related field) with 2+ years of supervisory experience OR a High school diploma with 2-5 years of hotel supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance with LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with reservation systems
• Experience with Agilysys/V1 or similar hotel management software
