Assistant Health and Wellness Director (RN)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to plan, organize, and direct clinical operations of the nursing department.
• Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and implement active wellness programs for residents in coordination with the Activity Director.
• Assess residents within 90 days of move-in and annually, or as conditions change, to develop Individual Service Plans (ISP).
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff.
• Maintain orderly resident files and document all pertinent clinical information.
• Investigate and resolve resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department.
• Prepare resident charges and reports for Director approval and billing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN) in good standing.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Care.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
