Assistant Headteacher – Behaviour, Attitudes and Culture

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction for behaviour, attitudes, and school culture
• Create a culture of success with high expectations for all students
• Oversee the implementation and impact of behaviour systems and policies
• Analyse behaviour and pastoral data to inform improvement strategies
• Lead and develop the pastoral team
• Drive PSHE and personal development across the school
• Support high levels of engagement, attendance, and inclusion
• Model excellent teaching through a timetabled teaching commitment
• Contribute to whole-school leadership, strategic planning, and staff development

Requirements

• Successful school leadership experience
• Strong pastoral expertise and a passion for student development
• Experience working with SEND learners (desirable)
• High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence
• Ability to inspire staff and students to achieve excellent outcomes
