Assistant Head Coach - Operational Excellence

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in driving business growth and implementing global/geographical programs to ensure a premium consumer experience.
• Manage various store functions including sales, visual merchandising (VMD), training, operations, and shipping/receiving.
• Lead team development by planning daily and long-term tasks to support staff education and career growth.
• Execute excellent store operations by strictly adhering to Nike policies and regulations.
• Drive operational improvements using KPIs such as inventory turnover and out-of-stock rates.
• Coordinate with headquarters to maintain store standards and manage staff effectively.
• Implement and train the team on new operational systems and tools.

Requirements

• Passion for the Nike brand, sports, and deep product knowledge.
• Approximately 3 years of retail management experience covering sales, VMD, shift management, and back-of-house operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make responsible decisions.
• Experience in inventory and logistics management (e.g., WMS, stocktaking).
• Proficiency in English (TOEIC 500 level or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build smooth professional relationships.
• Sensitivity to retail, apparel, and current fashion trends.
