Assistant Groomer

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming duties including bathing, conditioning, drying, and dematting hair
• Assist the head groomer with trimming nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears
• Help style pets according to owner instructions or standard grooming styles
• Identify and report potential health issues such as skin conditions or ear infections to owners
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets during the grooming process
• Maintain a clean work area and manage stock levels for daily grooming activities
• Collaborate with colleagues and assist veterinarians when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional grooming experience
• Proficiency in using Ezy-Vet veterinary management software
• Fluency in English
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Arabic language
• Previous experience working within the UAE veterinary market
