Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
• Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and animal testing positions
• Provide informed product recommendations based on deep product knowledge
• Support the shop manager in all business areas including recruitment, training, and succession planning
• Oversee operational excellence including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
• Manage staff scheduling, time, and attendance to ensure payroll accuracy and staff wellbeing

Requirements

• 1-3 years of management or supervisory experience in a retail environment
• Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Proven customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
• Knowledge of and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
• Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, and performance management
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
• Fluency in French or Spanish
