Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute daily shifts according to company SOPs to ensure Forbes 5-Star service standards
• Manage cost-effective operations, including labor scheduling, inventory, and cash handling
• Develop and implement business strategies to maximize revenue and seat utilization
• Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding menu availability, dietary needs, and pacing
• Oversee reservations, waitlists, and floor plans to optimize guest flow
• Supervise, direct, and coach supervisors, captains, and service teams
• Handle guest complaints and service recovery promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Provide personalized service to VIP and media guests

Requirements

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in fine dining (Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager level)
• Experience in luxury 5-star hotels or restaurants delivering exceptional dining experiences
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS software
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language
• Strong knowledge of cuisine styles and wine

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Michelin-recognized or Gault Millau restaurants
• WSET Level 2 certification
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management
• International exposure in trendsetting global markets
