Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations including inbound, outbound, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards
• Own the P&L and drive key performance indicators such as labor cost, throughput, and error rates
• Hire supervisors and develop frontline leads to build a strong supervisory layer
• Conduct performance conversations directly and consistently
• Coordinate cross-functionally with customer service, sales, and other facility leaders

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years in fulfillment, distribution, or supply chain operations
• Experience leading teams of 40 or more people
• Experience managing a facility budget and hitting operational KPIs
• Proficiency with WMS and enterprise tools like Excel and project management software
• Proven track record of building supervisory layers
• Strong communication skills for executive presentations and warehouse floor management

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Relevant degree or equivalent operational experience
