Assistant General Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team of Shift Leads, Colorists, and Assistants to provide exceptional guest services
• Perform hair color services, consultations, shampoo, blowouts, and retail recommendations
• Support localized marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and build community ties
• Manage business operations including staffing, inventory, and front of house procedures
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
• Achieve monthly sales goals, retail targets, and membership KPIs
• Manage employee schedules in compliance with labor laws and budgets
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of team members

Requirements

• Licensed Cosmetologist in the state of application
• Master Colorist with advanced color theory knowledge
• 2+ years of salon and retail experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in proactive problem solving and troubleshooting
• Experience using salon or retail technology
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak times
